There is no point in remastering them, you can get a hd texture pack if you want. If EA were to actually rerelease them (and at the 60$ price point as you suggested) they would be better off completely remaking them from scratch. Need for Speed Underground 2 is a D3D9 game, so you'd copy ReShade32.dll into the folder speed.exe is and rename it to d3d9.dll. Additionally copy all the shader files that came with whatever package you chose there too. Done .
